Last class of EDU 776
Reflecting on EDU 776
In the Beginning
If I am being completely honest, I was questioning myself as to why this class is a part of my degree program. I have to pay to learn how to blog? What is this sorcery? I was not very open minded in the beginning as to why this class would be important. I became overwhelmed quickly (which is no surprise if you know me) and being that I did not even know how to link something in my blog posts but seeing that it was a requirement, shows my lack of knowledge for technology.
Obviously, I wanted to be able to pass this class and actually get something out of it in the process. I think I let my closed mind prevent me from going in with a good demeanor and ready to learn. Perhaps, it was knowing the intensity of the class and my inability to do such tasks easily plus going back to the classroom full time without the safety measures in place like the end of last year in order to battle COVID. Once I figured out there were some friends from other classes here with me on this journey and knowing they were also not great at blogs, tech, Twitter, etc. I began to let my guard down and humble myself to ask them and my colleagues for help.
Now We DUNZO! How do I feel now about tech?

So, here we are in week 8 and this is my last blog of the semester. I have learned so much from this class. The amount of resources given by our professor was definitely profound and super helpful. I know can say that I know how to link sites among other things, but one thing I found that made my brain shake was that Twitter is not just for tweeting opinions on things that do not pertain to me. Twitter offers so many different resources from all over the nation and world in regards to education. Participating in the live chat was not only fun but also really engaging, This surprised me to say the least. The moral of this class for me is that I need to stay our of my own head and keep an open mind instead of getting overwhelmed.
